This is actually a series of four classes that will occur on Thursdays, September 10, 17, 24 and October 1. The $220 cost includes all four classes. Over the course of the four classes, you will learn and apply practical skills such as: how to “taste,” evaluate, and describe wines, choose wines you like, and pair wines with food. In the food and wine pairing class, you will taste, compare, and contrast various wines with freshly prepared foods, in order to discover how wine and food interact. After participating in the Essential Wine Experience series, you will be able to confidently choose wines that you enjoy and begin to pair wine with food.

About the Wine Experiences…

Designed and conducted by an instructional designer and a wine professional, this wine education program features interactive and collaborative learning experiences to help you build the skills necessary to fully enjoy and understand the world of wine. Whether you choose to participate face-to-face or online (online component will be available at a later date), these collaborative experiences will integrate social technologies to enrich your learning. In class and out, you will have opportunities to exchange information with our wine community of interest, through the use of twitter, a wiki, an online social network, and participant polling.
